Following the sign of ‘Eo Myeong-gi's Historic House’ on the opposite side of our parking lot, you will find a path gathering pine trees.
The pine tree path takes about 10 minutes round trip and it is recommended course for a light walk in the early morning.
At the end of the path, ‘Eo Myeong-gi's Historic House’ that is a cultural property with historical value is also good cultural heritage to explore while walking.
Eo Myeong-gi's historic house
Following a trail, you will find Korean traditional house (Hanok) designated as a national folklore cultural asset No. 131 in deep inside the village.
Built in the 1500’s, Eomyunggi's historic house is a tile-roofed house with gambrel roof that has 4 front compartments in the shape of a Mindori house and has 3 side compartments.
It preserves the original structure of the old wealthy families unique to the Yeongbuk region.
It is recommended to take a walk around it due to its high academic value.
Also, Wanggok Village which is 10 minutes away by car is good place to take around.
You can calmly experience the old houses of Goseong in this place.
